We are pleased to announce that Kel Steiner will be leading this October’s All Generations DTS. Students of all ages have applied for this upcoming school, and we wanted to give you a brief introduction of the school leader.



Born in Tauranga, New Zealand and graduated from Faith Bible College, Tauranga, NZ, Kel joined YWAM in 1970 and pioneered YWAM Philippines. He then went on to pioneer YWAM Micronesia from 1975-1983 and became the Director of YWAM Philippines from 1983-1989. During this time he married American wife Kristyn and they had 3 children. In the 90′s Kel and family returned to New Zealand where he was Dean of Mission & Director of Asian Outreach at his alma mater. In 1997, they moved to Restenas, Sweden to re-pioneer the YWAM work there. Currently (since 2003), they live in Colorado Springs where he serves as YWAM’s Assistant Field Director for Asia and the Pacific, working alongside Tom Hallas.
