This 25-hour course will give an introduction to basic health care principles and equip you with simple skills that can be utilised anywhere. No prior health or educational training pre-requisites required.

Over the 25 hours you will complete the following modules:

  1. Observation
  2. Infection
  3. Fluids
  4. Maternal & Child Health
  5. Respiratory

Some topics covered include:

  • God’s heart for the poor and needy
  • Social determinants of health
  • Fever reduction
  • Simple wound care
  • Maternal and child health
  • Malaria and diarrhoea prevention
